What an exciting yet relaxing time we had on Roatan. We stayed at Fantasy Island Resort and found it to be very nice. Evidently, they are in the process of remodeling some of the rooms. Most of our group had very nice accommodations but mine was in need of some fresh paint, new furniture, and bathroom fixtures. It was still comfortable and everything worked. The resort staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was tasty and plentyful. The diving was nothing short of incredible. We discovered squid, seahorses, an octopus, and were lucky enough to have a hammerhead shark swim by. When we returned to the dock, all the dive staff wanted to see the pictures I took. Only two of them had ever seen a hammerhead in that area. What luck! Check out the trip photos and meet the folks who joined us on this adventure. |
