All I have to say about Costa Rica is…WOW! If you joined us on this little adventure you know what I mean. If you didn’t, I’m very sorry. You missed out of one of the most fabulous trips we’ve ever put together. What makes me say that? Let me just list a few:
1. Diving with sharks, eels, puffers. Dolphins playing in our wake. Mating turtles two different days.
2. Riding horseback through the rainforest. Monkeys, parrots, and toucans in the trees around us.
3. Sitting on our patio and watching a volcano erupt.
4. Relaxing in a rushing spring heated to 104 degrees by the volcano.
5. Zipping along through the treetops a hundred feet off the ground.
6. Rappelling 165 feet down through a waterfall in the middle of the rainforest.
7. Rafting down a beautiful category 3 river.
8. Stopping to take pictures of an anteater in a tree beside the road.
9. Stopping to enjoy a cool drink in a local restaurant and having howler monkeys drop out of the trees to play on the roof next door.
10. Enjoying the kindness of the Costa Rican people.
11. Learning about Costa Rican history, geography, politics, and ecology from our wonderful tour guides.
12. Being amazed at the incredible biodiversity this country enjoys. The rainforests are awesome. You just can’t imagine the beauty of the vegetation and add to that the numerous species of animals

You know, I could go on about all the incredible animals we saw, how friendly the people of Costa Rica are, and how fun and exciting the tours were. Maybe it would be best if you just checked out the pictures in the photo gallery and see what you think.
Did you know Costa Rica means land of funny hats in Spanish? Just kidding, it really means Rich Coast. Every tour required us to wear helmets so we re-named the place. Check out the pictures and you'll see what we mean.
So we can give credit where due, each picture in the gallery is followed by a number. The following key will tell you who gets credit for the picture that is displayed.
